Museums

Taman Mini is a fertile hunting ground for museums, both within the park and just outside it. There's the Soldier's Museum (Museum Preprajuritan), which is a Camelot-style building featuring warriors from around Indonesia. Two of the more interesting museums are the Museum Asmat , containing an excellent collection of woodcarvings from the famed Irian Jaya tribe, and the Museum Indonesia , the most important museum in the park with costumes and ethnographic exhibits from all over the country. However, you might find your greatest thrill at the Museum Fauna , which has an enclosure with fearsome Komodo dragons.
